It is with great pleasure that we announce the addition of Flowers Forever to the Team Love roster. The band is currently in Nebraska making their first record. Check out their MySpace page for demos, videos and other goodies.
unfortunately, Gruff Rhys will not play La Victoria in Mexico City on Friday October 5, 2007 as previously announced. sorry Mexico! :(
Team Love is proud to welcome Capgun Coup! “Brought to you by Nebraskafish” will hit stores on September 25, 2007.
Recorded over twelve months in the band’s home city of Omaha, Nebraska, Nebraskafish is a snapshot of the band’s evolution from early minimal folk (”Oh My Mod”) to darker, more atmospheric pieces (such as “Social Security Number”). The album is an attempt to “tie the last two years of songwriting together … it’s music meant to be heard in a close setting with friends,” that is as much an homage to basement shows and house parties as it is to the indie pop tradition.
