There is a  MP3 from the new David Dondero album coming out on Team Love Aug 3 and it’s called “Wherever You Go,” download it here. Speaking of Dave, check out this Jolie clip of her doing the Real Tina Turner, and make sure to go see him when he comes to a town near you. Sonic Dissonance and Feral Saint are both on the lead off track and the Hattiesburg American has an eye-opening interview with Dave.  A Weather not only write beautiful songs, they also have aided us in discovering some great new websites like Bowlegs and In Your Speakers. Here’s a treat for everyone, Day Trotter has posted the McCarthy Trenching session and like always it a great listen.  Some dude at Mog is loving El Madmo. Capgun Coup‘s newest video is turning heads and Get Your Plane Right On Time are among those paying attention. If you missed their Tyler Chickinelli-directed video for When I’m Gone you can check it out at Consequence of Sound. A Weather recently played to an enamored audience at Union Hall in Brooklyn. A Weather’s new album Everyday Balloons is out and has already received warm praise from My ipod Thumb Is Sore,  Atlas and the Anchor, Indie Rock Cafe, and Clicky Clicky. The local press has caught the fever as well with reports coming in from the Portland Mercury and the Willamette Week.  A Weather are going to embark on their first US tour this spring, so check the dates here and don’t miss this rare chance to see the band.  The Berg Sans Nipple got some love from Fabric this week. Keep your eyes on this site for more BSN news soon.  Local favorites and TL’s newest family members, Midnight Masses recently wrapped up a residency at Union Hall and NYC Taper caught the night. KEXP is on it, and check out their video over at the Tripwire.  Simon Joyner is headed out on the road for a series of house shows. Check the dates here. Magnet dot com premiered a new A Weather track,  ”Giant Stairs“, from their upcoming full-length “Everyday Balloons.”  Clicky Clicky music blog is gearing up for the album is out March 2 and the band will be hitting the road shortly after for a coast-to-coast US tour.  In the meantime don’t forget to check out band-member Sarah Winchester’s debut solo EP, “The Northeast Kingdom Demos,” which can be found exclusively at the Team Love Library along with exclusive albums and EPs by Glade, Willy Mason, The Wave Pictures and Tampa’s Phil  Shaffart.  Parasites & Sycophants have posted the video for “Preacher’s Son,” along with The Trip Wire.  In the land of drummers turned badass frontmen, Jason Boesel’s debut album “Hustler’s Son” has received warm words from all over, including praise at Indie Time and a great interview at Making Out Like Bandits.  All the Ordinary has devoted the Music Monday column to Nik Freitas. And finally, Capgun Coup’s latest, “Maudlin,” continues to receive love from the likes of Bagel Radio, and Culture Bully.

2009 is officially dust but before we get too twentyten here is a quick look back at TL’s 09 plus some decade mentions.
Teenkicks has ranked both Jenny Lewis and the Felice Brothers in their best of the Decade list. The Felice’s get mad love over at Hear Sounds Write, When You Awake, No Depression’s Twang Nation, This Morning I was Born Again, Back in 15 Minutes and many more including Roll & Grandy‘s artist lists where Yonder gets a shout from Justin Towns Earl and Deertick. Simon Joyner’s “Out Into The Snow” received rankings from Friday Night Is Killing Me, The New Haven Advocate, The Needle Drop, a Top Ten spot from Thompson’s Bank of Communicable Desire and a Top Five spot from Pop Head Wound. Lucid by Joker’s Daughter claims a top 20 Song of the year over at Spotinews, and a Best of the Decade rank at Providence Daily Dose. Returning to Jenny Lewis, it is nice to see Rabbit Fur Coat getting Best of the Decade mentions at To Eleven, Swear I’m Not Paul, Living In Misery, and a Number Two ranking from 1,2,3 Jamboree. Also, check her out on the cover of December’s Under the Radar. Finally, at Rock Sell Out there is a great review of Shudder To Think’s Live From Home.
