I'm trying to catch up with my podcasts this weekend, and finally got around to my NPR Live Concert series and have to say I was blown away by the performance of David Dondero. I'm officially a newly converted fan! Great show!

This session was poetic in its simplicity - not just for the "Tiny Desk" format, but for David Dondero's shaking right hand and almost uncomfortably beautiful voice. It was truly a pleasure to watch. The beat-up, take-a-breath-and-slow-it-down-when-I-need-to turn in Living and the Dead was probably my favorite moment.
