This session was poetic in its simplicity – not just for the “Tiny Desk” format, but for David Dondero’s shaking right hand and almost uncomfortably beautiful voice. It was truly a pleasure to watch. The beat-up, take-a-breath-and-slow-it-down-when-I-need-to turn in Living and the Dead was probably my favorite moment.
I’m trying to catch up with my podcasts this weekend, and finally got around to my NPR Live Concert series and have to say I was blown away by the performance of David Dondero. I’m officially a newly converted fan! Great show!
